In order to improve the machining precision of the part surfaces and to facilitate the tool design and cutting parameter selection,the initiation and propagation laws of glass cracks in specimens subject to normal loading by symmetric wedges were investig.

研究结果表明 ,采用楔角在 30°～ 12 0°之间的对称楔印压玻璃时 ,玻璃裂纹的产生和扩展规律是相同的 ;采用楔角等于或大于 15 0°的对称楔印压玻璃时 ,裂纹的产生及扩展规律具有特殊性 。
